Begin Again: A Small Confession from a Grumpy Stoic Warrior
A spring reflection from Jolly Good Planet — no one is perfect, not even in the garden.
I do hesitate. My garden is a kind of Augean stable—wild, stubborn, and overgrown in ways that feel almost personal. The problem is simple: I am not Hercules. I am a woman, a grumpy warrior with muddy boots and a tendency to overthink.
So I do this for myself. To encourage my own action. To remind myself that beginnings rarely look heroic. They look like standing in front of a mess you didn’t choose, taking a breath, and deciding to start anyway.
