 My Journey Through Anxiety : Faith, Philosophy, and Finding My Way Back to Myself Sometimes the mind falters, but something older and kinder lifts us — a strength not born from thought, but from the quiet places where grace waits. For many years, anxiety lived with me like a shadow I couldn’t shake off. I was afraid of things that seemed harmless to others. I was afraid of people, of situations, of moments that should have felt simple. Anxiety narrowed my world, made it smaller, darker, and harder to breathe in. But even in my most difficult seasons, I always found two sources of rescue: God and philosophy. God, with His unconditional love, gave me hope when I felt hopeless.
