Recently, I heard a lot of things about myself—at a family gathering, at work, and in passing conversations where people speak quickly and think slowly. In the past, this would have crushed me. I would have spiraled into overthinking, sadness, and even depression. But this time… I didn’t break. I was untouchable. Not because people were kinder. Not because life suddenly became gentle.
